MAT 111 - College Math

Provides a basic background in critical thinking and problem solving through the language and methods of mathematics. Topics include a review and extension of algebra, geometry, quantitative reasoning, and data analysis. An emphasis is placed upon logic and reasoning in a mathematical context. This course meets the general education requirement in Mathematics. Students who have previously completed MAT 112 or higher may not enroll in this course for degree credit. Prerequisite: A course in introductory algebra.
