This course is designed to introduce the student to the differential calculus. Topics include: analytic geometry in the plane, functions, limits, the derivative and differentiation rules, partial derivatives, related rates, extrema, curve sketching, mean value theorem, linear approximations and parametric equations.

MAT120 or equivalent
