This is an introductory course in rigorous mathematics. It focuses on the building blocks of a mathematical theory: axioms, definitions, theorems and proofs. It illustrates these concepts by exploring the basics of logic, set theory, number theory and algebra.

Calculus II (MAT152 or equivalent).
